Project Description
AsylumConnect is a non-profit organization dedicated to the mission of helping LGBT asylum seekers and immigrants find resources to help and support them in the process of seeking asylum or immigrating to the United States and Canada.
The project involved moving the existing site on Squarespace to WordPress in an effort to make the site more SEO friendly for advertising. In addition, several new features were developed for the site to be more robust and functional.
Some features included bringing donations in-house versus using an outside app/website and creating an in-house shop to create print on-demand clothing and lifestyle accessories to raise funds for the organization.
